Halifax BID prepares for its second term ballot

pfbb UK developed the first Halifax BID after undertaking a feasibility study, helping bring key stakeholders together to form a steering group, surveying businesses and holding BID development workshops.

It is home to the internationally acclaimed Eureka children’s museum, formerly home to Crossley Carpets, the largest carpet mill in Europe and it is the site of one of the UK’s most significant heritage projects, the 18th century Piece Hall. Halifax is awash with heritage – but had become lost in the shadows of neighbouring cities Leeds and Manchester and hidden under the political imperatives of marketing the district of Calderdale.

The new BID focused on making the most of this heritage and to become an inclusive town for all and one that will rightly take its place back on the world stage. It has now been able to leverage in significant funding to protect and make the most of its heritage assets.

pfbb UK are proud to be asked to support Halifax again in preparation of their ballot for their second term and build on the BID’s success to date.
