Managing the interactive, instant and viral nature of digital communication

The roles of social and digital media including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, eNews bulletins, websites and apps have evolved rapidly and an important part of communicating with a BIDs different audiences and contributing to the aims and objectives of the new business plan

The different channels all require careful management and monitoring and due to the interactive, instant and viral nature of digital communication, the ability to monitor and manage content and messages across all channels with consistency and appropriateness across all days of the week and weekend and respond quickly, is vital.

The content and messages also have to be consistent with the PR being generated and broadcast through more traditional means. It is also important to ensure that all communication is consistent with the brand identity of the BID and with the BID business plan.
