What better way of learning about us than from those who we have worked with

Cathedral Quarter,
Derby

“pfbb UK have been key to creating the Cathedral Quarter BID in the first instance and managing the project delivery during the last BID and during the second (current) BID term. pfbb UK lead the renewal to build upon the success of the first BID having succeeded in delivering the vision which was to ‘Create the Cathedral Quarter as a destination’.

As part of the renewal programme pfbb UK have taken the BID Business Plan from one which addressed the basic issues of the way the place looked and felt to one which is now exerting significant influence on the strategic direction of the area, attracting new businesses and investment and embedding its reputation as a premium retail area with a great night time leisure offer and as an attractive business district.

I highly recommend pfbb UK as a company which has a strong technical ability, delivered with care and passion for their client in a highly professional manner.”

Martin Langsdale
Chair of the Cathedral Quarter BID

Luton

‘As Chair of Luton BID I have worked with pfbb UK since they developed the BID back in 2014. Since then the pfbb UK team have managed the delivery of the BID plans and taken the BID into its second term.

We are very fortunate to have such a professional, experienced and technically skilled team supporting the Board and managing the BID to deliver real benefits to the businesses in Luton town centre. Through the effectiveness of their project delivery the BID has made a real difference to the way the town centre looks and feels.

pfbb UK’s place making expertise also enables the BID to play a key strategic role in working with the council in the development and delivery of its masterplan which is key to changing the perceptions of the town centre and enabling Luton to reach its full potential.

On top of this, they aren’t scared to challenge ’the norm’ and really do feel like incredible team mates through the issues that any town or City might have.

I highly recommend pfbb UK as a highly professional and competent team who deliver valuable benefits to BID business levy payers.’

Brackmills Industrial Estate,
Northampton

“pfbb overall were extremely hard working, helpful and produced high quality work in a tight timeframe. pfbb built up a good relationship with the business, NBC, NEL and the Police and were able to be professional and approachable encouraging the businesses to work together to take the BID forward. pfbb ensured they took the time to visit the majority of the businesses on the estate and almost without exception they were convinced that the BID was the best way forward for Brackmills, this can be seen in the impressive result.
Northampton Borough Council would recommend pfbb to assist in setting up any future BIDs.”

pfbb UK have been managing the Northampton BID since they stepped in eighteen months before its first renewal to set it back on track. Since then they have managed its delivery and taken it through a further renewal into its third term. Through their skill they developed a very close and productive working relationship with the Northampton Borough Council and managed new relationships through the unitary authority restructuring.

During COVID the BID initiated and led the creation and coordination of the Northampton town centre Task Force supporting businesses and managing the town centre throughout the various stages of COVID lock down and openings. Through a highly experienced, effective and professional team the BID is now playing a key role in shaping the delivery of the Northampton town centre Masterplan driving real benefits to businesses and shaping the future of the town centre.

BID Tamworth

“Following a professional tender with a personal touch and backed by an excellent track record, BID Tamworth appointed Ian Ferguson and the team at Partnership For Better Business (PFBB) to support the development and delivery of our BID.

The challenge of bringing together a Town Centre, Riverside Area and Retail Park was ambitious to say the least but Ian and the team at PFBB did an excellent job supporting, guiding and advising the Steering Committee and Wider Business Community to secure engagement, shape and deliver a vision backed by an excellent business plan to support its delivery.

Ian provided a great deal of leadership and guidance to the Steering Committee combined with deep knowledge of BIDs, as Chair I personally benefitted from his counsel and experience as we navigated our way through the BID process whilst working alongside the public and private sector, maintaining engagement, networking and overcoming barriers to unlock the potential of a BID.

On this occasion BID Tamworth didn’t cross the rateable value hurdle, largely as a result of the Retail Park, however, Ian and the team at PFBB continue to support the Steering Committee at BID Tamworth with our ‘Plan B’ demonstrating that this project and its success goes beyond a financial return for PFBB, I applaud you Ian Ferguson and would recommend you and PFBB to anyone looking to appoint a professional BID consultant.”

“

We have been working with PFBB UK for a number of years, during this time we have found them to be very professional in all aspects of Business Improvement District, they helped the Huddersfield Partnership get the Huddersfield BID voted in by the businesses in our town. Without their guidance this would not have been possible and as we enter the next phase of our journey they have continued to support us.”
